“The place was in a very sorry state when we came here with garish patterns everywhere. We filled quite a few skips when clearing the place!” says Ann.
As a designer, Ann is well used to following other people’s briefs, but revamping her very own place was quite a different matter – and a much trickier task. “I always start with the design on paper and that’s where I work out the potential of knocking down walls, where to place the furniture etc. The next step is working out what colours and fabrics etc to use,” explains Ann.

Ann and husband Gareth worked with a local builder to completely renovate and rejuvenate the house and the end product is quite stunning, with the attention to detail meticulous. Wooden floors, sophisticated designs, neutral colours and clean lines throughout ensure that Llety Bodfor is a relaxing and harmonious haven, just as Ann had envisaged.

The elegant downstairs offers a comfortable seating and eating area as well as a shop with the three-floor luxury serviced accommodation consisting of a self-catering apartment and four suites, two large double rooms and two single rooms. All the rooms are light and spacious, contemporary and classic.
