This is the smallest house ever seen on 04Wal! The garden is larger than the 300 year old house which has been built straight on rock, without any need for foundations. Glyn is impressed with the skill of the person who built it. “He certainly knew what he was doing. The outside walls are four and a half to five foot thick. It’s solid.”
Glyn and Lee fell in love with the house immediately, and it took a year of tender loving care and hard work for the house to be restored to its present glory. The whole living area is contained in one room downstairs, overlooked by an upstairs bedroom. The neutral colour of the walls, the gleaming woodwork and the light streaming in through the windows ensures that there is a feeling of spaciousness.
