3 Lle: Beti George
The island of Samos in Greece in a very special place for Beti George, a place where she feels the need to return to every year. The beautiful landscape is not the only attraction for her, but also the local people, many of whom she has come to consider close friends.
Beti was brought up in Coed y Bryn near Llangrannog. Although she has not lived there for many years, she still thinks of the place as home. Coed y Bryn Chapel, in particular, played a very important part in her upbringing.
Another place close to Beti's heart is Nant y Moel, near Bridgend. She spent a great deal of time here as a child, visiting relatives and she shares her special memories of those times with us.
