Beware of the candid camera as a new entertainment series is set to catch unsuspecting members of the public unawares. Viewers will be the stars of Ar Gamera on Saturday nights.
Over the coming weeks, the troublesome duo Mari Lovgreen and Rhodri Ogwen Williams will be playing pranks on unsuspecting people in communities around Wales. They will then invite them to the studio for an evening of music, entertainment, mayhem and mischief.
But this is a studio with a difference! Pack your hotdogs, popcorn and fizzy drinks for a night at the drive-in. The audience will relax in flashy cars and on motorbikes to watch prank victims from across the country star on the big screen - just like at the American drive-in cinemas.
Ar Gamera will also offer the best 'value for money' prizes in the business. There's no sign of a luxury holiday for two in the Caribbean, the latest fast car, a new patio set or a cuddly toy. On this show, you'll be able to win a full tank of petrol or money to pay off a household bill. You may even win a 'must-have' prize such as a wheel pump or a fluffy dice for the car - or a Kindle, Sat Nav or iPod if you're one of the lucky ones.
Each week, two celebrities will be chatting and performing on the programme, as well as helping the audience to win prizes. Radio 1 DJ and producer Aled Haydn Jones and singer Ryland Teifi assist people from Porthmadog in the first programme.
Jae Alexander - one of the leading musical directors in West End musicals - and his band provide the music. Forthcoming guests include Colin Jackson, Tara Bethan, Siân Lloyd and Gethin Jenkins.
