In front of a sell-out audience at the Cardiff International Arena, Alex Jones will introduce a host of famous names, including The X Factor star Rhydian Roberts, Sophie Evans - runner up in the BBC talent series Over the Rainbow - and Shaheen Jafargholi, from Britain's Got Talent who sang at Michael Jackson's memorial concert.
Mark Evans (Your Country Needs You), Tara Bethan (I'd Do Anything), Only Men Aloud and Ysgol Glanaethwy (Last Choir Standing) are among the artists who'll be raising the roof. Dance groups Jukebox Juniors, Eclipse (Got to Dance, Sky 1) and Starburst (Britain's Got Talent) will also add a burst of energy with their spectacular routines.
Alex said, "It's quite a show I must say! I think getting everyone together like that is the best way to see what Wales has to offer. Hearing about the success of individuals is one thing, but putting them all in one place gives us a clear picture of the talent we have here in Wales.
"Cyngerdd Mawr Talent Cymru is a great opportunity to see a variety of talent under one roof. It's a privilege for me to be presenting the evening with performances by individuals and groups who have all done particularly well in talent programmes over the past decade."
"The artists are very proud of their Welshness, and are keen to show that being Welsh can be cool. Also at the Arena, during rehearsals in the afternoon, a number of dance groups, for example, came to watch the rehearsals. What they saw was Rhydian, who is obviously an idol for them, singing and speaking in Welsh. It showed these young people that stars like him use the language completely naturally."
