The web-based panel show Gwefreiddiol returns to S4C on Friday, 10 May. Quizmaster Dylan Ebenezer takes in all things weird and wonderful on the World Wide Web as he puts the two teams and their captains - Dyl Mai and Mari Lovgreen - to the test. From the funny and fanatical to the fantastically unbelievable - they'll face questions about everything under the sun.
Dyl Mei admits he is completely dependant on the internet - a trait which is sure to help him in the quiz. "You could say I'm addicted to it; if I'm ever without my phone or a laptop I start to worry. I refuse to visit friends unless they have WiFi."
But Dyl Mei claims he isn't too bothered about winning. "Mari is much more competitive than I am, especially after winning the last series. If there was a cash prize, then I'd be more bothered but you can't buy anything with glory. I don't know why Mari is so keen to win. Perhaps she has nothing better to worry about?"
So how does Mari Lovgreen feel about his claims? "I'd say he's the one who has nothing better to do, and it's a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Dyl should go out for a little fresh air instead of spending all day on his laptop!"
Because of the friendly bickering between the two captains, the film crew have begun to compare them to an old married couple! "That's a cause for concern, for several reasons!" says Mari, who admits that she can get a little bit too competitive. "Dyl winds me up when he reminds me that Gwefreiddiol is an entertainment series and that I shouldn't take it so seriously! But the truth is, I just want to win!" she says.
For one task in the quiz, Dylan Ebenezer asks the teams to come up with an idea for a brand new app which will change lives. With both captains admitting they are technology junkies, what useful apps are they using at the moment?
"One I'm using is an app which brings together articles and websites based on your interests in one place, like a magazine. It's clever, like your own personal newspaper," says Dyl Mei.
Mari admits she's a dab hand at the photo enhancing app Instagram, but it's another photo game which is keeping her amused at the moment. "What you do is take a photo of two people and then the game swaps their faces around! I've had hours of fun with it!" laughs Mari.
Joining the team captains to compete in the first programme will be actors Iwan John and Richard Elis.
