The bar reopens as the characters of the Bull welcome us to their midst for a new series of the comedy drama.
The popular programme is located in a typical North Wales quarry village pub. Produced and filmed on a specially built set, the cast stars Sue Roderick, Bryn Fôn, John Glyn Owen, Dafydd Emyr, Bethan Wyn Stevens, Llion Williams, Valmai Jones, Rhys ap Trefor and Mirain Haf.
Lauren Phillips, the twenty-nine year old actress from Bridgend, plays the part of Natasha who's a new face in the Bull.
"Natasha is confident and fiery," says Lauren, who played the part of teacher Sara in the drama Caerdydd.
"She's from South Wales originally but has lived in the North since she enrolled at Bangor University. She failed her first year but has decided to stay and has found a job behind the bar at the Bull.
"She's also high maintenance and knows how to use people to get what she wants. Fake-tan and new clothes don't buy themselves! But I think her heart's in the right place. She's got a lot in her head and she knows when to stop pushing people."
The fact that the drama is filmed close to transmission and includes references to topical events and the gossip of the day adds to the challenge according to Lauren.
"Usually, I receive a script and spend time learning it and working towards conveying the message. After all, that's my job as an actress," she explains. "But Ista'nbwl is different because you get a lot more freedom with the script and I'm looking forward to the experience. Because I'm new to the crew as well, I'm not confident enough to change anything yet and I'm happy to sit back and learn."
In the first programme of the series, there excitement at the Bull as Julie and Heather prepare to go on a holiday together, but the locals are a little bit suspicious of Natasha - the cuckoo in their nest.
