TV's king of chat is back with some festive treats for S4C viewers this Christmas.
No, Michael Parkinson hasn't been tempted out of retirement – spoof policeman Special Constable P.C. Leslie Wynne will be celebrating the festive season with a Boxing Day edition of his chat show.
P.C. Leslie Wynne will be welcoming a host of celebrity guests to his ‘winter retreat', including television personalities Iolo Williams and Sarra Elgan and singer Margaret Williams.
"It will be a lot of fun with famous faces and some new friends. I'm so excited!" says Leslie, who's played by comedian Tudur Owen.
"I want to give something back to the community over the Christmas period. I will be patrolling the streets to give festive surprises to unsuspecting people and offering them the chance to 'cwtch a copper'."
With resident band the Asbos sent to prison after failing their probation, north Wales choir Hogia'r Ddwylan, Radio Cymru's Male Voice Choir of the year, will be joining the celebrations.
P.C. Leslie adds, "I have a new best friend in the shape of the icon, the diva, the star, the Queen of Wales – Margaret Williams. She made such an impression when she came on the show last time, she's back again this year to help decorate the cabin and sing a medley of Christmas songs with me during the evening."
P.C. Leslie Wynne shot to fame in the popular sketch series Mawr!, before being given his own chat show.
Tudur Owen will be back on S4C in the New Year with a new entertainment series full of stand-up comedy and chat, Tudur Owen o'r Doc.
