Sophie Thomas
Sophie is the train manager, but her dream is to be at the helm, driving the train. She's a lively, independent girl who's full of enthusiasm. She's in a relationship with Alex, who works in Lost Property, and still lives at home with her parents.
Played by Mali Harries
Originally from Cardiff, Mali studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She has appeared in four series of the S4C drama Caerdydd and will appear in the fifth, broadcast in 2010. Mali is currently filming Pen Talar, a new drama for S4C, and has worked on the ITV1 series Murderland.

Dyfrig Williams Richard Elis

Dyfrig Williams
Dyfrig is the train driver. He's a warm, loveable bear of a man, happily married and the father of three. He adores his family. Dyfrig's had a gambling problem in the past but is back on track now.
Played by Richard Elis
Carmarthenshire-born Richard is best-known for his role as Huw Edwards in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. He recently appeared in the S4C drama 2 Dŷ a Ni, and has appeared in other S4C dramas, including Caerdydd and the Rose d'Or-winning drama Con Passionate.

Ellis 'Reality' Hughes Siôn Pritchard

Ellis 'Reality' Hughes
Reality is in his 20s and works in the buffet car. He longs to be famous. He's single and full of fun, thinks highly of himself, but essentially he's a mammy's boy with his heart in the right place.
Played by Siôn Pritchard
Siôn is an established stage actor who appears regularly with Theatr Clwyd and Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru. He is currently filming Pen Talar, a new drama for S4C, and his television credits also include dramas Talcen Caled, Treflan and Pen Tennyn on S4C.

Pandora Powell Ffion Williams

Pandora Powell
Pandora is the customer host affectionately known as the 'trolley dolly'. There's not a lot going on upstairs but she has a very interesting take on life and her innocence is part of her charm. More than anything, Pandora wants to be an air hostess.
Played by Ffion Williams
Ffion, originally from the Swansea Valley, is a regular in S4C drama Caerdydd, playing fame-hungry Natasha. She appears in the third series of Gavin and Stacey and has a role in S4C's award-winning film, Cwcw, due to be broadcast next year.

Gwenci Aled Pugh

Gwenci
Gwenci is Reality's best friend who loves hanging out with Eluned, and making the most of her home cooking. He's unemployed and in need of a bath - but he's very creative. He longs to help Reality become famous.
Played by Aled Pugh
Aled made his television debut as a youngster in the S4C sit com Hapus Dyrfa. Since then, the Ammanford-born actor has appeared in numerous S4C series including gangster drama Y Pris. He won the Theatre in Wales award for Best Actor in 2006 for his role as Ryan Davies in the stage play The Life of Ryan and Ronnie. He also plays Ryan in S4C's Christmas Day film about the legendary comic duo, Ryan a Ronnie. He's currently filming Royal Wedding, a Tiger Aspect production for the BBC.

Eluned Hughes Gillian Elisa

Eluned Hughes
Reality's mother, Eluned, is an eccentric housewife who dotes on her only child. But she isn't quite as innocent as she appears as her colourful past comes to the fore...
Played by Gillian Elisa
Gillian is perhaps best-known for her long-running role as Sabrina in the Welsh language soap opera Pobol y Cwm. She has appeared in Gavin and Stacey and Casualty and is an established comedienne who has performed a one woman stage show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Alex Caitlin Richards

Alex
Alex works in Lost Property and is utterly besotted with Sophie... perhaps a little too much. She would like more than anything for Sophie to tell her parents about their relationship.
Played by Caitlin Richards
Caitlin played one of the main roles in the S4C film, Cymru Fach. She is also a regular on stage and has performed with Y Byd, Electra, Blackout and Theatr Clwyd, directed by Tim Baker. Her appearances on S4C include soap opera Pobol y Cwm and light drama Cowbois ac Injans. Caitlin studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Ingrid Crenski Ruth Jones

Ingrid Crenski
Ingrid is Polish and works at the station café. She has her own particular brand of advice, often in Polish, and she loves to play the accordion.
Played by Ruth Jones
Originally from Porthcawl, Ruth studied at University of Warwick and at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Ruth is best known for co-writing and starring in the in the multi-award winning hit TV comedy, Gavin and Stacey. This is her first production for S4C.

Siôn Evans Ieuan Rhys

Siôn Evans
Siôn is the depot manager. He likes to keep the world on the train to his tight schedule. He has a glint in his eye for Ingrid.
Played by Ieuan Rhys
Ieuan is best-known for his role as Sgt Glyn James in the soap opera Pobol y Cwm. He has a string of other television, theatre and radio credits to his name, including S4C's Y Pris and Doctor Who. He also presented S4C's quiz show Siôn a Siân alongside Gillian Elisa.
