In the first programme, one of Wales’ favourite entertainers, Bryn Fôn will perform live in Caernarfon market and chat to Elin in a café in the town. Brigyn will play two songs from their new CD, Brigyn 3, in the Band Hut, Llanrug, and there will be a performance by a new band, Y Philbennetts, who will be familiar to Pobol y Cwm viewers.
The programme will also feature poet, Meirion Macintyre Huws, singer, Geraint Løvgreen and his daughter Mari, who presents S4C’s youth magazine show Uned 5. They’ll all be talking about their love for Caernaron and why the town is special to them.
Elin Fflur first came to prominence when she joined her brother’s band, Carlotta, aged just fifteen. She also sang with the Moniars for a while before making a name for herself as a popular solo artist. She won the 2002 Song for Wales competition with the song, ‘Harbwr Diogel’, composed by Arfon Wyn.
