S4C will join the thousands of people flocking to the Llyn Peninsula to enjoy Europe's biggest Wakeboarding festival, Wakestock.
Lisa Gwilym and Griff Lynch present two programmes during the weekend, as they bring the best of the competitions on the water and the music on the festival field. Also we can relive the whole experience as Huw Stephens presents an hour-long highlights programme. Huw also plays a DJ set on the Friday night.
We'll catch a glimpse of the best tricks and splashes in the wakeboarding competitions which are held at several locations along the coast including Pwllheli Marina and Abersoch beach. At night, the main festival site on the outskirts of Pwllheli will come alive with world famous bands and groups from the Welsh rock scene entertaining the crowd of thousands. This year's line-up includes Ellie Goulding, Chase and Status, The Wombats, Biffy Clyro and Welsh band Kids in Glass Houses. Among the Welsh language performers are Masters in France, Mr Phormula, Sibrydion, The Joy Formidable, Mr Huw and Colorama.
Griff will go backstage to chat with some of the artists before and after they step onto the stage. Also, there will be an opportunity to hear acoustic sets from some of the bands as they perform in the studio.
