But it is where Beaujolaise was born that you can see the best celebrations. At Beauleu there is an enormous party called Sarmentelles, which leads up to twelve o clock - what a party it is! According to folklore you should drink Beaujolais Nouveau wine before Christmas, which will give you enough excuse to drink it dry!
