Chateau De Pibarnon
About twenty minutes from Cadiere d'Azur along winding roads you will come across a 'bastide' from the thirteenth century - Chateau de Pibarnon. The luxury house has been home to Comte Henri de St-Victor and his family since 1977, when he bought the building and restored it to its present state.
Over the years the estate has grown from 3.5 ha to over 50 ha and the most significant work is the plantation of the amphitheatre vineyard that's known as the 'Theatre d'Epidaure'. The amphitheatre of terraces opposite the house not only grows vines but also stops erosion of the land and it's better at absorbing water.
Eric the son of Henri de St-Victor took our competitors around the cellars and gave them a taste of their fantastic wines. Chateau Pibarnon have their own unique style, they have reds, whites and rose wine, which all are fantastic!
