Chez Dudley Winner 2006
Jan Wilson-Jones, a primary school teacher from Ruthin in Denbighshire, is the first winner of Chez Dudley.
Jan's prize for winning the competition is a four-day course at Raymond Blanc's cookery school, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons near Oxford.
The course includes lessons in creating starters such as soufflé and ravioli, fish courses such as salmon and turbot, preparation of meats with accompanying sauces and of course the famous French pâtisserie including a chocolate demonstration. Jan will also have the opportunity to stay at the luxury hotel in a prize worth over £2000.
"I'm looking forward to going on the course this Easter. But if Santa could bring me one thing this Christmas, I'd like to take all the other contestants with me because it won't be the same without them!"
