Jean François Bérard or Jeff to his friends is René Bérard's son. Both of them work extremely hard with he rest of the family at Hostellerie Bérard in the middle of La Cadière d'Azur village.
In 2003 Jean François was accepted into the circle of young restaurateurs of Europe.
As father and son they have won numerous awards:
In 2004 - 16 out of 20 in the Gaulet et Millau guide and 15 out of 20 in the Champerard guide.
2005 - they re-opened the Le Petit Jardin - Provencal bistro.
2006 - they received a Michelin star!
The restaurant offers amazing panoramic views of the valley below, while René and Jeff prepare delicious dishes and Danielle takes care of all your needs.

Squid soup with 'fava' beans and wild fennel.
Veal slowly cooked with an 'arabica' sauce.
John Dory with an 'acidoulus' tomato sauce, olives and wild 'arguala', with old-fashioned mashed potatoes.
