René Bérard and his son, Jean Francoise Bérard work extremely hard with he rest of the family at Hostellerie Bérard in the middle of La Cadiere d'Azur village.
As father and son they have won numerous awards:
In 2004 - 16 out of 20 in the Gaulet et Millau guide and 15 out of 20 in the Champerard guide.
2005 - they re-opened the Le Petit Jardin - Provencal bistro
2006 - they received a Michelin star!
René Bérard's Favourite recipes include: Back of a lamb on a spit rubbed with thyme. Red mullet roasted in olive oil with garlic based sauce, little vegetables from provence in saffron fragrance rice from camargue. Diamond shaped orange flavoured parfait.
