The process of analysing responses to the S4C Authority’s public consultation into proposals to introduce a new Welsh language children’s TV channel has begun following the consultation’s closing date on 20 July.
Nearly 500 responses were received, from children, individuals and organisations. Over the summer, the S4C Authority will undertake the work of analysing these responses and identifying the way forward.
John Walter Jones, Chair of the S4C Authority said, “The level of response to the consultation has been most encouraging and we’re grateful to everyone for their comments. Clearly the idea of establishing a dedicated channel for children has captured people’s imagination.”
