DATES AND DISASTERS!

Summer’s almost here, and as the winter woollies are consigned to the back of the wardrobe, S4C is once again in the mood for Friday-night romance! This week, popular dating show Cinio Caru returns to our screens, with the first slice of action before Big Brother at 8.25pm and the second, no-holds-barred feedback and results show at 9.30pm.

Each week one lucky girl or boy will have the chance to try out three contestants – one over starters, the second over main course and the third over pudding – during a romantic meal in either Catherine Zeta Jones’ favourite haunt, Morgans Hotel in Swansea, or the trendy Castell Deudraeth in Portmeirion.

This year, the contestants will be in the hands of the new Maitre D', Meical Owen (of the series Procar Pinc) and presenter Ffion Dafis (star of Amdani) and psychologist Dr. Mair Edwards will once again be on hand to analyse the body language and offer words of wisdom. Once the decision has been made, the happy couple will drive off in the sumptuous white Cadillac on a fabulous all-expenses-paid date.
