Nain has made a decoration for Mam to hang on the tree. She hangs it in the Hairy Pear tree and goes inside the house to wait for the family to come home. But Boris Bw Hw sees it and thinks it will make the perfect birthday present for his Auntie Beti. But just as he's pinched it off the tree, the Bla Blas arrive home and he throws it in the bumblebee bush. Later, disguised as a detective, will he retrieve the stolen decoration? Or will it all end in tears for Boris?
