Another two chapels are built - Moriah and The Tabernacle, the latter on land provided by the Porth Madryn Railway Company. This company came into being so that agricultural products could be sent to Porth Madryn for export. The money required to build the railway was raised in Liverpool, and the materials and necessary expertise were sent over in 1886 - by 1888, a railway connected Trelew with the port.
