The Character

Character - Arwyn

Word to describe the character - Unique

Go on... Arwyn and Carwyn are two brothers, also cousins of Balders. In their 30s. Some type of debt collectors – they don’t have much money but Arwyn is full of ideas on how to get some – a bit of a wheeler dealer. They are looked upon as the village idiots with some kind of idea or other constantly going round in their heads. They collect debts on behalf of Balders. Arwyn and Carwyn are seen as one – always in the same place at the same time and they like to think they are tough nuts. In reality, Arwyn without Carwyn and vice versa are a soft touch.

Why did the script appeal to you - The fact that Cath and Jon had written the drama and that it was such a lovely company like Opus that were producing it! A third series please boss!...And an Arwyn and Carwyn spin-off!

What’s it like to be in c&i - Great. Nice to be out on set in the little village of Llanfair in the Vale of Glamorgan (as well as Llanelli). The crew are great and friendly. C & I is completely different to PYC – there’s quite a bit of comedy to the series and the scripts are witty.

Memorable scene - Any with Carwyn (John Rowley)

Favourite character - Balders, poor dab. I laugh with him and at him!

Cowboy or Indian? - Cowboy
