Bili Wheeler is the owner of Wheeler’s garage. He’s a kind man, ready and willing to help any one, handsome and if you’re looking to buy a second-hand car, who better than Bili Wheeler to buy from or sell from…hmm.
Val Wheeler is Bili Wheeler’s wife. Val on valium . . . and alcohol! She lives a life which some would see as a life of luxury, she’s a kept woman but drives a scrap of a car to compare with her daughter, Jo Jo’s sporty car.
Jo Jo is Bili and Val’s daughter and Manny mistress. She’s an ambitious person and eventhough she only works in the Admin department with Del, she really wants to run the place and acts like that too!
Balders is Wheeler’s top salesman but he doesn’t have much luck with the selling! His dream is to write a romantic fiction but he has to earn a living by selling cars.
Manny is the new salesman. Former guitarist in a London band, married to Cez and Mabon’s Father. He has to cope with the advances of a feisty Jo Jo.
Cez is Manny’s wife, Mabon’s Mother and Russ’ daughter who is dying of cancer. Cez was brought up in the area and she’s friends with Jo-Jo. A no-fuss person who will speak her mind.
Del is the garage’s secretary and keeps everything and everyone on track, but her personal life is a complete mess! Her ex-husband, Jimmy has run off with a girl half his age and Del’s only consolation these days is a good old bottle of vino!
Arwyn and Carwyn are two brothers, who are joined at the hip. They like to think they’re hard and give their cousin Balders a tough time. They’re also debt collectors and have their hearts set on directing a cowboy film set in space!
