Television and radio presenter Gaynor Davies has overcome a number of personal setbacks in her life but the joy of living life to the full shines through as she accompanies Iolo Williams on a walk through Capel Curig countryside.

Gaynor says, "I've a great affinity with this area and I remember as a child coming down to Llyn Crafnant after chapel on Sundays for a picnic as a treat. I wanted to go on a speedboat on the lake but it wasn’t allowed. I did get to water ski once but that was on the Menai Straits during high tide and I can assure you I wouldn’t want to do it again!

The area is not only full of wonderful scenery but home to her parents and many of her friends and family.

"My family have a strong farming background and I had an incredibly happy childhood. All my school friends come from this beautiful rural area.”
