HUW JONES

Lakes and mountains in north Montgomeryshire provide the route for Huw Jones’ walk with Iolo Williams. The area is also close to the presenter's heart as this is where he spent his childhood.

Huw says of the spout of Rhiwargor, “When I said that I wanted to walk in this area, I’d never actually been to this particular spot, so the walk begins in an amazing place”.

While taking a year ‘out’, Huw enjoys not having any responsibilities and went travelling in New Zeland for six weeks.

Huw enjoys outdoor activities including walking, cycling and skïng. He says, “They all take you outside and if your job is based in an office then you appreciate it even more”.
