Smallholder and Garden Festival
Ifan Jones Evans will be presenting highlights of the popular festival this week in the company of co-presenters Shân Cothi and Russell Jones. It's expected that this year's Festival will attract over 25,000 visitors.
The farmer's son from Pont-rhyd-y-groes, near Pontrhydfendigaid, is really looking forward to the Festival which is a bit of a favourite with him.
"The Festival gets bigger each year, and I'm looking forward to seeing what will be new there this year," he says. "I'm also looking forward to seeing unusual animals such as alpacas and lamas. To me, this Festival marks the beginning of Summer and is an excellent start to the Show season."
As Ifan takes a look at the animals on display, poultry expert and gardener, Russell, will be in his element among the hens and ducks and will also be studying the gardening and 'green living' stalls. Shân Cothi will be her usual bubbly self, chatting to people around the Festival site.
