What are you currently studying?

I'm currently studying in year 10. My favourite subjects are Media Studies and Drama.

Interests?

I love taking pictures. I like famous people and reading about them in magazines to see what they get up to away from the spotlight. I'm also totally addicted to Big Brother – I intend to spend all summer watching the goings on in the house.

Interesting / Funny fact about yourself?

When I was younger I wanted to be a ‘Spy'. I'm totally obsessed with gherkins.

Who are your heroes?

Britney Spears

What is your favourite S4C programme?

Caerdydd – this series is fab and I really enjoy modern dramas like Caerdydd.

What expectations did you have of the series?

I was expecting a big change in myself and I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could change my ways to be green.

What is the hardest thing about turning green?

Having to think about turning electrical appliances off and not leave the T.V. on standby. It creates a lot more work for me!

What is the best thing about going green?

Mam was green to begin with – she thinks that all of these things are important and we should all do our bit to help the environment. She recycled before the series and turned off electricity to save it – the important but small things.

What have you learnt whilst filming the series?

I've learnt that going green is extremely important and everyone should follow this example.

Which member of your family had the most difficulty in going green?

Me – I have had to change a lot of things that are very important in my everyday life, like the television (how am I meant to watch Big Brother without a TV?!), hair straighteners and music. I depend on these items every day.

Which challenge did you enjoy the most?

The fashion show without a doubt. I love clothes and follow fashion so this challenge was great to combine my interests with turning green.

Which challenge did you find most difficult?

The hardest challenge was the cooking challenge. We had to cook a meal that was damaging to the environment in front of the famous cook Dudley! The pressure was on to include as much ingredients as possible from foreign countries – remembering that Dudley had to taste our food.

What advice would you give anyone who wishes to follow in your footsteps?

Good luck!! (laughs) It's a difficult process and you will need a lot of will-power to turn green.

How has the process affected you as a family?

I have definitely seen a change in myself for the better since starting Cwm Glo Cwm gwyrdd. Also, I'm always turning the electricity off when I don't use it.

Is there anything that you would change about your experience?

I wish that I was greener during the series. There are little simple things that everyone can do to lead greener lives. I'd definitely do it all again.
