What are you currently studying?
I will be doing my GCSE exams next year. My favourite subjects in school are Drama and Business Studies.
Interests?
I like playing tennis with my friends and really enjoy listening to music – anything with a rhythm or a beat to be honest so that I can dance to it.
Interesting / Funny facts about yourself?
Don't try and touch my hair. I like my hair to be styled in a certain way – with spikes.
Who are your heroes?
George Sampson – the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2008.
What are your favourite S4C programmes?
I enjoy following S4C's youth drama Rownd a Rownd – even though I've never had a paper round myself. The characters are all great and the storylines keep you watching week after week.
Why did you decide to nominate your family for the series?
As a family we were quite good (and quite green) in the past. We recycled and did the small simple things anyway and I thought that it would be a good experience for us as a family.
What expectations did you have of the series?
Something that was going to be quite easy to be honest – the process has been a lot more difficult than what I was expecting and trying to turn people greener is very difficult.
What is the hardest thing about turning green?
One of the hardest challenges for me was when we went to a big supermarket to try and swap their normal plastic carrier bags for longer lasting bags that were environmentally friendly. A lot of people were quite rude and telling us to leave them alone – this wasn't a very pleasant experience.
What is the best thing about going green?
It makes us realise how much rubbish and electricity we waste every day.
What have you learnt whilst filming the series?
I've learnt a lot about nature and wild animals. I've also enjoyed being out and about in the fresh air and enjoying the valleys around my home as opposed to being indoors all the time.
Which member of your family had the most difficulty in going green?
Mam has found it very difficult and she has realised that turning green is a lot of work. She loves gardening though and has been growing different plants in the garden and has created a nice garden.
Which challenge did you enjoy the most?
The rally was the best challenge for me when we had to compare different measurements of the things that we used (e.g. electricity, lights etc). It was very interesting (and scary!!) to see the differences.
Which challenge did you find most difficult?
Definitely the cooking challenge. I never cook when I'm at home, mam normally does this for me so I didn't have a clue where to start. But since completing the challenge I'm much more confident in preparing food for the family – Spaghetti Bolognese is the favourite.
What advice would you give anyone who wishes to follow in your footsteps?
You should recycle the right things in the proper places.
How has the process affected you as a family?
A lot of things have changed in our house since the series. We waste less food and therefore waste less packaging. In our garden we have a vegetable patch now too because my mother is a keen gardener, which means we use less electric.
Is there anything that you would change about your experience?
We all had a lot of fun during the process.
