Why did you decide to nominate your family to take part in the series?
Me and Lloyd were quite fit before starting Cwm Sâl Cwm Iach but we nominated our family so we could encourage Mum to do more. As a family, we're all members of the local gym and we enjoy playing squash and swimming. Lloyd is also on the books at the Ospreys and plays rugby all the time.
What's the hardest thing about healthy living?
Eating healthily! We all like to eat things full of fat and cutting down was hard.
What's the best thing?
To follow a better way of living and to feel better about yourself.
Who in tour family had the most difficulty to adjust to living a healthier lifestyle?
Lloyd. Before we started, Lloyd's diet wasn't good at all. He's got a sweet tooth and likes to eat fatty things so he had a hard time on the whole. His problem was that he doesn't like to eat pasta or salads - he likes chips and other unhealthy things which are not good for you.
What was your favourite challenge?
I think that walking up Pen-y-fan was my favourite challenge. I enjoyed being out in the fresh air with friends. Lloyd's favourite challenge was a training session with some of Wales' rugby stars including Dwayne Peel and Andrew Bishop. He enjoyed it although it was hard work.
Which challenge proved most difficult?
I don't like needles and things, so the challenge where we had to monitor our health by taking blood was hard for me. I remember feeling sick just thinking about it.
What advice would you pass on to a family who would like to follow your lead?
Support each other because it isn't easy and follow a well-balanced diet.
How has the process affected the family as a whole?
By now we do more things as a family. We eat together often, go to the gym or swimming together and now I help Lloyd practice his rugby in the garden.
Is there anything you'd change about your time on the programme?
I think we could have put more effort into the challenges at times.
