Elin: The most popular package is the 'total makeover’ as we call it. Sometimes, you need someone else to come in to look at your clothes and tell you 'yes, you do have things that you can wear but you need to wear them like this’. So we put items together and then in the afternoon, we’ll go shopping for the new clothes that they need. Usually, it’ll only be one or two items which’ll be needed to add to their wardrobes. We try to give people more confidence so we try to put clothes on them that’ll make them feel nice. Then, if they look nice, they feel nice on the inside.

Elin: I tend to have a clear out of my clothes every now and again, but I hang onto my accessories because you can transform an outfit with the right accessories.

Nia: You obviously like wearing big, chunky necklaces?

Elin: Yes, I love wearing ones that make a statement. Usually, I wear more than one together.

Nia: Do you like the idea of buying ones from charity shops too? There’s some history to them then?

Elin: Yes, they’re unique then aren’t they. I like that idea.

Nia: How about the shoes then? You’ve a lot of shoes haven’t you?

Elin: Yes! The green Prada ones - they were reduced from about £250£70 and I still keep them in the bag as if they’re worth around £500!

Elin: And I’ve never worn the red 'Dorothy’ ones but I might wear them this Winter.

Nia: Have you made any fashion faux pa’s in your time. Bet you have?!

Elin: Yes, I’m sure I have. The most memorable one, not sure if I should mention this, but I had these dark jeans and I put bleach on them and then I wore pink fishnets under them. I’ve a photo of myself in the outfit, but I ripped it up and binned it! I don’t think my business partner, Kim, would be very happy to see that picture or she might give me the sack!

Nia: Is that part of the therapy then? Tearing up the photo?!

Elin: Yes!

Elin: I decided to buy this skirt whist visiting New York with college, and I wore it when we were out there too. I wore it to go up the Empire State Building, I thought it was a good idea at the time because it looked quite cool and great but the skirt lifted right up at the back, and the only way I could get out of it was to move backwards against a wall before I could pull the skirt down!

Elin: I love all of these colours

Elin: This purple item is approximately 30 years old because this is what Mum wore on her wedding night and I like to wear it now. I wore it to film our tv series too so it means quite a lot to me.

Nia: Do you have a favourite item of clothing or a favourite outfit in your clothes cupboard?

Elin: I can’t think of one item in particular. Don’t forget that because of our work, we’re expected to wear different clothes all the time. But, I do have a long, green leather jacket with fur around the collars which I love. I haven’t worn it for a while but it’s going to be fashionable this winter so I think I’ll start wearing it again.
