Gwydion Alun is a young actor that has a sense of style that's unique to him.
I don't like being a part of the crowd all the time, I like to make people think. If people can't handle others looking different, then that's their problem. I love acting; therefore I always try and find things to create a new character for myself. I have two fashion icons, and these are the only two I would ever consider as an inspiration. Jonny Depp, the man's fantastic. We've seen him grow, from the eighties through to today and how his style has developed. And the other one is James Masters who plays Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, there's something about him, he caries himself with such confidence.
You keep your clothes in an untidy heap!
I know where most of my clothes are and so I think about what I'm going to wear and when was the last time I wore it. If I've worn it recently then it will be on top of the heap but if it's been a while since I've worn it then it will somewhere at the bottom and I'll have to burrow for it!
What's the story behind this frilly shirt?
I bought this on e-bay. I decided for Gwyr's grand concert that I didn't want to wear a regular shirt, I couldn't find a regular shirt anyway. It's got a vampire vibe to it. I'll never follow fashion because I'd hate it if I went out one day only to find I'm dressed like everyone else. What I don't like is what I call enforced conformity where everyone struggles so hard to be different that they end up looking exactly the same as each other.
You have a vast collection of hats. What's the story behind this top-hat?
I found this in a field! I was on my way to school and had missed the bus when I decided to walk and in the middle of a field I came across this top-hat. Why on earth had somebody left it there I'll never know. So I took the hat to school and washed it and here it is! There's only one hat to wear for life but there are hundreds for heads. I do two things, I work and live. I don't draw a line between them.
