Is there one item of clothing that stands out in your wardrobe?

I have a pair of red checked trousers that make me look like a clown. But they're such a pleasure to wear as I always have so much fun when I wear them.

Hannah Daniel

How would you describe your style?

I find it difficult putting an exact label on my style because it changes from day to day. My wardrobe is such a mixture of things. I have a lot of denim and leather clothes and jeans are an essential part of my wardrobe. I like the 1980s style, the big shoulders, shoulder pads, bright colours and things like that. I like to take ideas from the catwalk and give them my own twist. Because I can't afford designer clothes, it's great to take their ideas and incorporate them with mine.

Hannah Daniel

Where do you to buy your clothes?

I shop a lot in Brick Lane. I live in East London, and I used to work in a pub there. There are a lot of second hand and vintage shops there and also Spitalfields market is just down the road. Every Sunday, I'd work at the pub and they'd send me out with flyers to the market. Then I'd put the flyers in my bag, and spend my wages on clothes!

You present children's television series Garej on S4C. Does that give you a chance to experiment with clothes?

I was lucky with Garej as it was a series about cars and gadgets so there was no need for me to wear feminine clothes, I'm not a big fan of feminine clothes! I get called a tomboy quite often, so I was glad that I was able to wear jeans, leather and leather boots for the programme.

Hannah Daniel

Are clothes just a bit of fun for you?

They can be. Sometimes I lose myself in a shop and see things I like that look great on the hanger, but after I buy them and take them home I often think, what on earth have I just bought? This colourful jumper is one of those items! I have worn it but I need to be in a good mood to wear it.

Hannah Daniel

You own quite a few jackets. Do you like fitted clothes?

I tend to look a little scruffy, but now and again I like to dress up a little and I think I use fitted jackets to do that. I wore this black jacket with a large pair of glasses to go to the library to study when I was at college because I thought that they made me look more brainy!

Hannah Daniel

You're a big fan of charity shops aren't you?

I bought this leather jacket in Bangor for £4 in a charity shop. I like to think that shopping at charity shops is like a competition of trying to find a bargain and something unique that no one else will have.

Hannah Daniel

This cardigan looks like something straight out of the 80s. Where did you buy this?

I bought this in Cardiff. When I was filming Garej, I would go into this shop at least once a week and would usually buy something as there were always nice things there. I went in one week and the man behind the counter had kept this to one side for me as he knew I'd like it.

Hannah Daniel

When it comes to clothes, what's your weakness?

Definitely shoes. I don't usually spend that much money on clothes, but I'll spend on shoes. In my first semester at college, I literally ran to Selfridges and bought these black Miu Miu boots. They were £400 and I bought them with my student loan. To be fair, it was my first loan and I had to live on baked beans for the rest of the semester so I did learn my lesson.

Do you have one favourite outfit in your wardrobe?

My favourite outfit is my leather jacket, a pair of denim shorts and a muscle vest which I wear with high heels and it works every time!

This outfit combines two of your favourite fabrics, denim and leather with touches from the 80s, everything you love in one outfit!
