Where are all these pictures from?

Most of them were given to me as Christmas or birthday presents from my friends and family.

Where did the name Jelvis come from? Because of Jamie and Elvis obviously?

Well yes. It all started when I was in Year 7, everyone called me Jelvis not with a J but with a G because I used so much gel in my hair, and Im still using it now! So I came up with Jelvis with a J because my names Jamie.

Do you do your hair every morning?

My mum does it, and it takes about 20 minutes to do it. I like to look good for school.

Is that you in the picture?

Yes! My friend Keighley is doing photography in university, and she took that when I was doing a gig. I think it was in Abergavenny.

Blue suede shoes must be essential for anyone who likes Elvis...where did you get them from?

I got them in a place called Unicorn in Nottingham. In 2004 I took part in the Elvis Convention in Porthcawl. I was singing Blue Suede Shoes but I didnt have any, so I appeared in the local paper here in Swansea asking for some, and in the end people were phoning us to tell us where we could get some from.

Where did you get these cowboy boots?

I got these from my father as a birthday present from America, from a place called Sheplers. They cost about 100 pounds but I like them. I dont know if Ill wear them much as Jelvis, but I like the Apache/Native American style too. I like using this jacket with jeans and boots, it looks good.

Is there a story behind this suit?

This was my very first costume. In 2004 when I was in Year 7, I had to represent my class in a concert, and I hadnt done Elvis before. They were like Youve got the hair, you may as well do it! so I asked Hazel, who lives down the road, to make this for me. It was brilliant because she did this in two days flat and the concert was a big success.

Where did you get the gold jacket?

Now, this is really special to me. A month ago I turned sixteen, and this was sent to me from America by my friend Craig Parker the No.1 Elvis Tribute Artist in America. Hes managed by Charles Stone who was Elvis tour manager. So it was really great that he sent this to me.

Where did you get this fantastic leather outfit?

I had it made a few months ago. I had to be measured and it took about a week or two to make up. But when I went on stage in it for the first time, the girls were like wow so it was really effective and worked really well under the lights too.
