Who's your favourite designer on the high street?

If I'm in a panic and need to find something to wear, Kate Moss's collection at Topshop is a dead cert!

How did you become a fan of Kate Moss's clothes?

I wasn't really a big fan of Kate Moss before I saw her collection. I'm not the type of person that reads magazines, be because you can go in store to see and touch the clothes, I pay more attention to what she does and wears.

What's so appealing about Kate Moss' clothing?

I got more into Kate Moss' clothing as a result of the series Caerdydd. My character was similar to Kate Moss in the way she tossed outfits together and still looked stylish. Usually when you finish a job you want to be rid of the character, the hair colour, everything as soon as possible. But with Sarah, I've kept a lot of the clothes and my personal style has changed slightly.

Do you have a favourite item of clothing by Kate Moss?

Yes I do, about two years ago when I was rehearsing for a theatre show, we finished rehearsals about half past five, I realised that we were going out that night and I had nothing to wear. I didn't want to go all the way back home, so I went to town, straight into Topshop and found these amazing trousers. They are so comfortable, and their gold - they sound disgusting I know, but they're great!

Why do like designer clothes on the high street so much?

I don't spend a lot on clothes. I do shop often, but I'll put a limit on how much I spend. By having designers do high street collections, it means that you can own something rather exclusive but without the expensive price tag.

How did your interest in Julian McDonald's clothes start?

Julian McDonald's fashion show was the first fashion show I attended; I went to see it during London Fashion Week. His collection was amazing, they were glamorous - lots of dresses, sequins, fake fur and the colours were fantastic. Of course then he released his collection at Debenhams.

Tell me more about this amazing blue dress.

One day I was walking past this shop and I saw this pretty dress in the window- bright blue with a rather vintage look about it, it looked like something you'd see in a 1940s film. I went into the shop to ask the woman how much the dress cost but said that the dress wasn't for sale and it was only on display. I couldn't just leave the shop without buying the dress. In the end the woman took the dress out of the window and off the model and I bought it - but it was a bit expensive for my liking.

How much did you pay for the blue dress?

About £150-£160, which isn't extremely expensive but because I'm tight with my money I think it was a bit too much for a dress. But I have worn the dress a lot and it's an item of clothing that will be in my wardrobe for a long time.

Why do like Julien McDonald's clothes so much?

The clothes that are original pieces from his collection are expensive, and I can't afford something with that sort of price tag. It would be nice if I could have something from the original collection, but the clothes he designs for Debenhams are just as nice as the originals in my opinion.
