Lisa on London...
I have always liked dressing up. My gran on my dad's side, was really glamorous in a sort of 'Cruella de Ville' with cigarette holders and I always remember thinking 'I want to be like that when I grow up'. When I moved to London initially I suffered from some sort of Dick Whittington Syndrome, that all the pavements were paved with gold. My first job was in Cosmo, and I looked up to all these glamorous women and the following week I was in the bank getting a loan to buy a Joseph suit. Now when you earn £9,000 a year that's really rather stupid!
Lisa on her most expensive purchase...
This coat is amazing, stunning, but I'll never wear it because I'd be terrified that something would happen to it. I was at a shoot with the magazine I'm working for at the moment and it was like a love at first time kind of things. We had a sort of moment, me and this coat, and it was a bit like being in a trance and it's kind of weird. I don't know if you've ever had that experience where you're in a shop and you go all hot and the all cold and you have to have it? No? Oh well, must just be me then...
Are you going to reveal how much you spent on it or are you too embarrassed?
I am embarrassed, yes, but let's just say, it was over £700.
Lisa on the pressure on women...
There is a certain pressure to conform and to look a certain way and there's too much pressure especially when you're young, you look up to these magazines and you want to imitate them and I've felt the same pressures. I've felt as if I'm not good enough unless I wear what Elle and Glamour tell me I should wear. I think it took me about five or six years to realise that I'll never be able to shop in Hermes and Gucci and that Top Shop is good enough!
Lisa on clothes...
Clothes should make you feel amazing and feminine or sexy or whatever you want it to make you feel, not feel inadequate. I've tried some things by designers and they've made me feel as if my bodyshape's wrong, and it's not wrong than you very much!
Lisa on celebs...
I'm a big fan of Paris Hilton - I think she's amazing, and I went to her perfume launch and probably my biggest claim to fame is that Paris Hilton told me 'God I so want that dress'!
Lisa on her favourite outfits...
I have one or two things that have a magical quality about them, men seem to fall at my feet when I wear them, they throw money and Bollinger at me - amazing!
