Tell me a little bit about your skirts because you seem to make a point of showing your legs.
I think I wear skirts because I've always danced, ever since I was a little girl, and you had to show your legs then, but you also wore tights. I also have brown legs so I like to show them off, and dancing has also made my legs strong and toned. I read somewhere that Halle Berry said the best way to feel good about yourself is to show your best assets and hide your worst!
So if your legs are your strongest assets what are your worst?
My top half, I wear jackets to cover my wobbly arms.
With your short skirts do you wear boots, shoes or what?
It depends. I've had two accidents where I turned my foot so I couldn't wear heels, which was a bit of a trauma for me 'cos I'm only 5'4". But then I discovered cowboy boots. I just liked them and they were comfortable. I could dance all night and walk home without taking my shoes off - brilliant!
Are these your wackiest boots?
Yeah, my mum bought them for me. She doesn't usually buy me clothes but if she sees something which she knows I'll definitely like she'll get them. She got these from Ireland and I wore them for the first time on television.
What's that there with newspaper print on it?
Fashion phobia. My mum and dad bought it for me. When I was 13 or 14 I was on holiday and I had this thing where if I liked something I would say that it would be good for an audition or something. Then my parents would say 'Oh ok, you can have it as a treat.
Tara on her style changes...
I wore this jacket for a while though I don't think I'll wear it again. But I won't throw it away either because it was expensive.
I like the fact that I can dress up, wear what I want, and I might even wear something hideous. But I don't care, they're only clothes.
