Teleri: I like bright colours such as purples, dark pink and black and white, all the colours that aren't depressing really.

Nia: What kind of clothes are in your wardrobe? Can you describe them?

Teleri: Well, I've normal, everyday clothes and clothes that some like to call OTT clothes that I enjoy wearing. I don't care what people think about my clothes, I don't like being the same as other people as far as clothes go.

Nia: I see that your hair has a hint of purple in it?

Teleri: When I was young, quite a lot of the older ladies used to put blue rinse in their hair and we used to call them the 'blue rinse brigade' so I thought I didn't want to be white! My hair used to be black and thought that if I dyed my hair back to black that at my age, I might end up looking like an old witch, so I thought I better colour it purple and it goes with my clothes too.

Nia: Some years ago, following illness, Teleri suffered from depression and eversince she has been aware that clothes reflect the way she feels...

Teleri: Before I fell ill, I wore the same style of clothes that I wear now, but during my low times, I wasn't really interested in the way I looked but by now it's as if I've started a new journey and that journey is taking me to further places than I'd ever been before as far as my clothes go.

Teleri: There's gypsy blood present in Teleri's family, and appears that it was traditional Welsh clothing that the gypsies in Wales had years ago, unlike the stereotypical clothes we associate with the Romani gypsy.

Nia: There's a lot of purple in your wardrobe isn't there?

Teleri: Yes, I wear this one when I visit places and tell stories about gypsies.

Nia: How about this grand one? I bet you don't just blend into the background in this one!

Teleri: This is lace with a top that goes over it and then the jacket and a lovely little bag to go with it.

Nia: Is there a story behind the pretty, light green dress?

Teleri: It's a fairy dress and I believe in fairies.

Nia: Do they live at the bottom of the garden then?

Teleri: I haven't seen one but I'm sure they're there somewhere. I bought this one for my 60th birthday party, it's just lovely to wear.

Teleri: You can see me coming miles away but I don't wear the clothes I wear to seek attention, I just like what I wear.
