How would you describe your style?
Romantic, pink, girlie clothes.
Do you have a lot of one style in particular in your wardrobe?
I can spend a lot of money and then when I come home I realize that they’re all little glitzy tops! When am I going to have time to wear them all, I don’t know! Dressing as a woman is very important to me and I like really girly, frilly things in nice material and I’m always persuaded by pink clothes. It’s such a soft and happy colour.
Do you have any specific order to your wardrobe?
I’m hopless I know, but there is some kind of order to my wardrobe! I try to keep the doors closed though because it stresses me to see how messy it is!
Do you keep clothes for a long period of time without wearing them?
Meeting the hoarders in the series made me feel much better. I tend to keep everything just in case they come back in fashion but having met some of the contributors, I’ve realized that my hoarding is nothing compared to some!
Do you think men are as aware as women are about fashion?
Having lived with Aled, my partner, I know exactly how aware men are! He’s much more aware of trends than me and he knows exactly what he likes. My wardrobe is a bone of contention between the both of us to be honest because my clothes take up most of the wardrobe! He accuses me of hogging the whole place! And I think that he’d prefer it if the room wasn’t quite as pink too!
Who inspires you fashion wise? Do you admire a particular star’s fashion sense?
Kate Thornton always looks nice. She wears the same kind of dresses as I’d like.
What kind of a shopper are you?
I’m really impulsive. I try to think what I need but I end up buying things that draw my attention. I have so many skirts in my wardrobe that I like but I can’t wear them all because I haven’t got tops or boots to go with them. I see people going out to shop and buying whole outfits and I’m very jealous of them!
Your favourite shops?
Howells, Cardiff – Always my starting point because there’s plenty of choice there. Topshop – A chance to buy a lot of fashionable clothes without having to spend too much. River Island – Plenty of sparkle! Zara – A good variety. London’s department stores – If I need something for a special occasion. If I had lots of money, I’d choose Emanuel Ungaro or Ben de Lisi’s floaty and flirty clothes. I remember falling in love with one of the dresses – but it was fifteen hundred pounds!
