Cyfnewid is a programme that suits Rhodri down to the ground. For years he's been collecting all sorts of antiques across the world. By now, his house is so full of items, he's had to hire 2 storehouses to house his collection. His most sensible option would be to send two lorries down to a Cyfnewid event, and swap everything for things he'd actually use for free!

'Cyfnewid isn't a jumble sale', he says 'it's more of a quality exchange opportunity in a great setting.'

Rhodri is excited to be part of this new series on S4C that gives him a chance to meet and natter with people all around Wales.

I absolutely love being a part of Cyfnewid. Ever since I went to a swapping party about a year ago, I've been a big fan of the idea of exchanging something you don't need for something that's old to someone else, but new and interesting to you. I got quite a few things in the party, one or two things that had never been worn. 'One man's trash is another man's treasure' I think!

I'm looking forward every week to see what interesting things are going to be exchanged. We've had car parts, golf clubs, chairs and even original paintings. More than anything, I'm looking forward to chatting to all of you who will be doing the exchanging, as that's my main hobby! Looking forward to seeing you all.

Originally from Anglesey, I completed a degree in Business and psychology at Bangor University. On the off chance, I got a job at an interior design company in Chester, and that really sparked my interest in design. I later moved back to Anglesey and got a job with the Countryside council for Wales, where I still work.

In the meantime I've gained a diploma in interior design, and have set up my own design company. It's great fun, but very tiring trying to do everything!

I'm married and have three children. I love shopping and rooting around for bargains, as well as spending time with family and friends and keeping fit. I never sit down, and am pretty sure that life is too short not to do something you enjoy!

Originally, I'm a girl from the Llyn Peninsula, I was educated in Ysgol Botwnnog and later went on to graduate from Chester University. I've been working for quite a few different educational and environmental agencies, but now I'm a classroom assistant in Ysgol y Graig, Llangefni.

My general interest in fashion and style led me in the end to start advising friends and colleagues about transforming their wardrobes. This developed in the end into my small stylist/personal shopper business. As a part of this, I arrange 'swishing' get-togethers, where you can swap unwanted items, and personal shopping trips or wardrobe clearing sessions in client's homes.

On Cyfnewid I'll mostly be advising the swappers in the fashion area, with tips on what will suit different visitors, and all important advice on how to clear out your wardrobe.
