Alwyn Humphreys

Alwyn Humphreys was born in Bodffordd, Anglesey. After leaving Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni, he studied music at the University of Hull. Following a period teaching, he moved to work in the media and became one of Wales’ most affable broadcasters.

He was Musical Director of the Morriston Orpheus Choir for 25 years, travelling the world putting Welsh choral music on the map. He is also a highly respected adjudicator.
