Alwyn Humphreys presents an Easter Service from Farmor Church in Bodelwyddan. Gwyn Hughes Jones will sing Bara Angylion Duw, which is the Welsh version of Panis Angelicus, as well as the hymn Lausanne. Barry Morgan, Archbishop of Wales, will be talking to Hywel Gwynfryn about the true meaning of Easter to him.Leading the proceedings will be Mari Pritchard with a strong audience singing hymns appropriate to the occasion.

Amongst the hymns will be the Easter hymn Heddiw Cododd Crist yn fyw, Hwn Ydyw’r Dydd y Cododd Crist to the tune of Nativity, and Arglwydd Iesu, ti faddeuaist to the tune Hyfrydol. The obvious choice to end the service will be Crist a orchfygodd fore’r trydydd dydd to the tune of Macabeus. There will be four readings which will have the themes of betrayal, denial, crucifixion and resurrection.
