Programme 20

We had marvelous congregational singing in Pafiliwn Môn. Bethan Elfyn presented the programme, with Alwyn Humphreys leading the singing. The congregational singing included the hymns:

• Builth with the words “Rhagluniaeth Fawr y Nef”
• “Duw mawr y Rhyfeddodau maith” hymntune Rhydygroes
• “Un fendith dyro im” to the hymntune Sirioldeb
• “Gwyn a Gwridog Hawddgar iawn” to the hymntune Llanfair and the words “Sicrwydd Bendigaid Iesu fy rhan” to the hymntune “Sicrwydd Bendigaid”.

Mair Parri talked about the philanthropic work she's been doing for years with the people of Anglesey, including local children making boxes for African children. We heard about her visit to Nairobi and the plans for water sources there, and why the ancient church of Llangwyfan is so important to her. Dylan Rees talked about his work with the 'Lighthouse' scheme helping homeless people in Holyhead, and the way local Christians help with the work.
