This week Alwyn Humphreys will pay tribute to one of the greatest Welsh composers, Daniel Protheroe (1866-1934). The congregational singing comes from Yorath Chapel in Cwmgiedd and includes some of Daniel Protheroe’s renowned hymns. We also met a descendent of Daniel Protheroe, Hannah Protheroe-Griffiths, who shared fond memories of her great-uncle.
