PICNICS

Eating ‘al fresco’ during warmer climates is a tradition enjoyed all over the world, with picnics becoming the focal point of many a summer’s day.

DAYS OUT

There are many enjoyable places in Wales that you can visit and, at the same time, have a picnic. Some offer an insight into ancient Welsh history whilst others are nestled in the beautiful Welsh countryside or looking out over the coast. This is by no means an extensive list of what Wales has to offer, as there are surely dozens more places to enjoy, but it can act as a guide to the type of attractions that are open to picnickers. You could make your own list of places to research and keep so when the mood for a picnic suddenly arises, you can load up the car and make for your venue of choice knowing that you’ve already checked it out. Do remember to follow any rules that may be stipulated.
