METHOD
Empty the gin from the bottle and leave to one side (e.g. in a bowl). Fill the empty bottle ¾ full with damsons, add the sugar, and return the gin to the bottle. Close the bottle tightly. The gin will have to be shaken each day for ten days and then left for three months. After this period, you can sieve the fruit and the gin will be ready. Remember, the longer you leave the gin the better it will be.
