The Tandoori chicken Pinch of salt Juice of 1 lemon 1 small onion - finely chopped 1 clove of garlic - finely chopped 2" of fresh ginger - finely chopped ½ green chilli - de-seeded and finely chopped 2 teaspoons of garam massala 1 teaspoon of cumin 1 teaspoon of turmeric 12 fl oz of plain yoghurt
Sauce 1 pot of plain yoghurt 1 jar of mango chutney 1 red chilli - de-seeded and finely chopped 1 cucumber - finely chopped 2 tomatoes - finely chopped 1 red onion - finely chopped 1 bunch of fresh mint - finely chopped 1 bunch of fresh corriander - finely chopped
METHOD
Marinate the chicken in the tandoori ingredients for 24 hours.
Cook the chicken under the grill.
Put the meat in the chapattis and put some of the yoghurt on top.
