METHOD
Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves and ginger in a food processor.
Add the butter and sugar, and gradually add the eggs and honey (take care as the dough could become quite wet)
Preheat the oven to 170°C/Fan 150°C/Gas 3.
Grease 2 baking trays. Roll the dough to 1.5cm and using a cutter of your choice e.g. Stars, Christmas Trees, Hearts etc cut the dough and place on the tray. Roll the leftovers again and cut more shapes until you have used up all of the dough.
If you intend hanging the biscuits from the tree, cut a hole near the top of each biscuit.
Place the biscuits in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove the biscuits from the oven and allow to cool on a tray.
Prepare the icing according to the instructions on the pack. With a metal spoon, spread the icing over the biscuits and decorate with colourful pearls or any other cake decorations of your choice.
