METHOD
Roll out the pastry to a thickness of 2cm. Using a pastry cutter or a 6 inch plate cut 4 circles to make pasty cases.
Mix all the other ingredients (except for the egg) together in a bowl.
Share and place the mixture between the four circles.
Brush the edges of the pasty cases with the beaten egg and fold the edges together to create a pasty shape.
Place the pasties in the oven for 15-20 minutes on 180ºC/350 Fahrenheit/Gas 4.
