In Mallorca Anna and Carlos are having coffee outside a cafe. Mel comes to talk with them; Carlos is not very fond of Mel. Mel talks about going back to Wales, but Anna is looking forward to see Mel coming back to Mallorca.
In Wales Elin is teaching her Pilates class. Her daughter, Sioned comes to the class, she’s done very well in her A level exams. Sioned is looking forward to go away to college, but Elin is worried about how they will be paying for the course.
In Mallorca, Gari a Welshman that works as a chef in Anna and Carlos’s restaurant, is talking to Anna, Gari knows about the relationship between Mel and the two sisters. Carlos’s mother, La Madre arrives; Anna isn’t very fond of her mother-in-law.
Mel has come back home to Wales to Elin and the two make love in their camper van. Suddenly the camper van starts to move down the road and into a tree. Mel dies in the accident.
Mel’s death is a shock to Anna and she comes back to Wales for the funeral, but she arrives late. Two of Elin’s friends, Nansi and Dic are not happy to see Anna. Nansi knows that Anna and Mel had an affair.
Anna offers money to Sioned to go to college. Sioned wants to go on holiday to Mallorca and Elin isn’t happy. Anna pays for the funeral and goes back to Mallorca to Carlos. But is Carlos happy to see his wife back?
On her birthday Elin goes out on Mel’s boat with Sioned and Nansi; they go to spread Mel’s ashes on the sea. Sioned isn’t happy and she jumps into the sea and swims back home. Nansi falls into the sea, Elin jumps in after Nansi and the boat moves away carrying the ashes.
Elin, Sioned and Nansi go to see Robert Elis, the solicitor. He reads Mel’s will. Mel has left his pictures to Elin and his money to Sioned; but Mel wants them to spread the ashes in the sea – in Mallorca!
Elin asks a local fisherman, Mr Pyke for help to find the boat and the ashes; but the boat has gone. An accident on Mr Pyke’s boat brings good luck to Elin.
In Mallorca Anna wants to turn La Madre’s house into a hotel; but her mother-in-law doesn’t want to leave her home. How will Anna get her hands on Carlos’s mother’s house? A phone call from Wales is good news for Anna.
