Croeso i’r ardd. Welcome to the garden. Byw yn yr Ardd (Living in the Garden) is S4C’s popular series for people who want to enjoy more time in the garden and get more out of the garden. This is programme 19. This Just Starting script is an exact translation of the Mynediad/Entry Level version, so when ready, please move up to see how much you can understand.
The three who present Byw yn yr Ardd are Russell Jones, Bethan Gwanas and Sioned Rowlands. They get help every week from experts and people who enjoy gardening.
Russell is in Rhosgadfan looking at how to grow herbs.
And he makes tea with the leaves of southernwood (artemisia abrotanum).
Bethan is in Talybont with Dilys Morgan learning how to make beetroot chutney.
Bethan also works with the children of Ysgol Brithdir to make natural compost.
And Sioned is in the National Botanical Gardens looking at 25,000 types of orchid.
Carwyn John makes cider.
