’Ar y Tracs’ is a comedy drama. The people who have written the film are Ruth Jones and Catrin Dafydd. It is a story about people who work on the line between Swansea and London and the people who travel on the train.
This is Sophie Thomas. Sophie is the train manager, but she wants to drive the train. She is in a relationship with Alex, a girl who works at the station.
This is Dyfrig Williams; he is the train driver. He lives with his wife, Catrin and their children. He has had gambling problems.
Pandora Powell is the ‘trolley-dolly’ on the train. But Pandora wants to work on an aeroplane.
This is Ellis ‘Reality’ Hughes; he works on the buffet car on the train. Why ‘Reality’? – Ellis wants to go on reality shows!
This is Eluned Hughes, Reality’s mother. She is an eccentric housewife and she has a colourful past!
This is Gwenci, a good friend to Reality. He helps Reality to be famous. He likes Eluned, Reality’s mother; he calls her ‘Mam’!
This is Alex; she works in ‘Lost Property’. She is very fond of Sophie.
This is Siôn Evans, the depot manager. Siôn looks after the train timetables and he is very fond of Ingrid who works in the cafe.
